Hi Hunnis!

I am so glad to be back after what seems like the busiest few weeks of my life.  I think its been nearly three weeks since I got the chance to sit down and spend some quality time with my computer and I have genuinely really missed it.  The reason for my little spell away was a mixture of a few things.  My camera has broken and been sent off to be repaired so any new products I have bought and received lately are patiently waiting to be photographed, I say patiently, its killing me not to use them.  Also Ill use this little sentence to apologise for the quality of these pictures but its all I can manage at the moment. If my camera breaking wasn't bad enough my laptop has now given up and gone to laptop heaven so at the moment I am using the family desktop computer, which unfortunately isn't as convenient for me as I often used to write posts on the train to work.  I have also been extremely busy with work, my contract has been increased at Lush so I am now no longer a part time worker but full time between two jobs working 40 hours a week, this has been a big change in my life and I now find myself with very little free time.

I hope that explains why I had a little break and I hope you didn't miss me too much but I have now managed to get into some kind of routine with life, work and blogging so this makes me very happy.

I have so much news and couldn't wait to tell you all.  First exciting piece of news is I got an I phone, eventually after having a blackberry for years.  I love it and don't know how I coped with a Blackberry for so long.  It makes emailing and using social media sites so much quicker and easier, high five to Apple.

As soon as I got my I Phone I signed up to Instagram and its just the best thing ever!  I post everything on there from the make up I'm using each day to what I had for dinner.

You all know how much I love my brows but also know what an effort I find it each day to make them look nice, well the effort is no more.  I have had the amazing Benefit Brows Treatment and now have beautiful brows all the time with minimal effort.  I will be writing a separate post  to go into more detail about what is included in the treatment as it was just fabulous.

On Wednesday last week I went for coffee with two lovely ladies from the Elemis Press Team, which was such a lovely way to spend my afternoon.  They introduced me to the new product launches which are all AMAZING and I genuinly cannot wait to share them with you.  It was so great to speak to the lovely ladies I have been in touch with through email for so long, face to face.

Also last Wednesday I went to the Shopping Event in L'Occitane in collaboration with Glossy Box, this was fabulous as I do not know much about this French brand and love discovering new products to fall in love with, the L'Occitane hand cream is now my favourite.  It was great to see some bloggers who unfortunately I don't get to see very often. 

 I have also re subscribed to Glossy Box after cancelling last year.  I started my subsription again as the boxes recently have been fabulous and when I receieved my box in May I was delighted with the contents.

One last very exciting piece of news for you is Lush related, if you already follow @lushbirmingham on twitter you will know, but if not I decided to let you know on here.

At work Jen, John and myself have launched a Lush Birmingham Blog!  We will all be writing on the blog and from now on any Lush related product reviews I write will be over on the Lush blog.

I will be creating a separate page with more information about the Lush Birmingham Blog but its going to be phenominal so keep your eyes peeled.  I would appriciate it so so much if you could follow us  and show us some support.

I wanted to show you all the fabulous new phonecases Adam and Myself have treated ourselves to last week.  How yummy do these look!!

 I had these made by the lovely Tina the founder of All That Sparkles.  I first came accross this company on twitter and since then I have became great friends with Tina and she is my first stop shop for any crystalised or candied accessories.  This lovely lady runs her business single handed crystalising and candying lots of different accessories including phonecases, compact mirrors, make up brushes and childrens clothing.

 

As soon as I seen these Candy Cases I knew I needed to have one made for my new phone.  I messaged Tina and we began chatting about what myself and Adam would like on our cases.  Completely personalised service is all you will recieve from All that Sparkles, I was made to feel extremely special, and that I wasn't just another customer.

 

 Some of the accessories on the phonecases were already in Tina's kit but there was a few things I wanted that she didnt have, she spent nearly 3 days looking for the things she didn't already have.  Of course she found them and ordered then especially for us.

 

When making both cases I was sent pictures of the design before it was set in the whipped cream so I could make sure they were exactly the way I wanted them, and only when I was happy were they made.  I love how realistic the candy accessories look. These are so different to any phonecase I have seen in the shops and love that mine is unique to me.

 

The whipped cream is what keeps the 'candy' in place and is very secure, I expected it to feel hard like plastic but it is flexible to an extent, therefor if you drop your phone none of the embellishments are going to fall or drop off. 

 

 

 

 

I have had this on my phone for nearly a week and it makes me smile everytime I look at it.  The thing I love is I was able to get Adam one too, these can be made for both girls and boys.  As they completely personalised they will be exactly to your own taste.

These are all my presents that dont fit into the Beauty, Clothes or Jewellery categories.  Even though my birthday was a good few weeks ago now I still want to share with you what I got as I was just extremely lucky and feel that If I cant show all you lovely people what I got who can I show.

 Now on first looks you may not have a clue what this is but believe me it is one of the most thoughtful and heartfelt presents I have EVER recieved.  My best friend Erin has got a star named after me in the Libra Constellation.  I am very much into astrology and read my horoscopes every single day.  The meaning behind this present is what means the most, my dear Grampa passed away in August and with this star being named after me Erin thought that it would be comforting knowing a little part of me was closer to my Grampa in the stars.  I really cannot thank Erin for this lovely gift it is perfect.

 

 When people kept asking me what Id like for my birthday, all I told them was things with 21 on them.  I love all the glasses, photo albums, keyrings with important ages on because they are great to keep.  Luckily I recieved lots of these type of things so im delighted. Im such a hoarder I keep EVERYTHING, so these will all be kept til im old and wrinkly.
 

The Monday before my birthday my old BB curve died a very painful cracked screen death, safe to say I was devastated,not just because I rely on it to stay in touch with the world but I had irreplaceable pictures on it that I could no longer access.   I walked to work that day completely lost without it, couldnt wait to finish work and go home and just feel sorry for myself really.  Cue the best boyfriend EVER! Adam walked into our bedroom with a phone shaped box, and to my absolute delight it was the updated model of my BB curve.  I am loving this phone soo much, its 10 times better than the one I had before and I was able to get all my pictures and music from my old phone too!

 



These are definately the best scented candles you will ever come accross.  Busy Bee Candles are the nicest scented candles I have ever found, I love the quirky scent names, the colours, the different types of candles.  This time I made a massive order with my birthday money because there was a 30% off code to use.  My favourite out of this batch are Baby Powder, Marshmallow Delight and Peach Cobbler.  I received this lovely chocolate bar from my little cousin Charlotte, I still havent eaten it because its personalised and probably never will.  Everything else I purchased from the Selfridges food hall, I love all the sweets and chocolate from around the world and even though they are a bit more expensive they are soo worth it.

Next week I will be sharing my most exciting Birthday presents, the jewellery I recieved.  All I will say is Blue and white box!

A while ago I won this little bit of sparkle on twitter from the lovely Crystalise Boutique.  It is a simple but effective piece of jewellery and adds a bit of fun and sparkle to any outfit.  I chose pink because I have lots of pastel coloured clothes and this matches perfectly.

This is made from a hard plastic so will be very hard wearing and with the adjustable back it would fit anybody. The only thing I would ever change about this ring is the crystal is set in a gold metal, I would just of used a large swarovski crystal like used on phonecases, dont know why just personal preference really.

I would love one of her phonecases they are to die for! Here are just a couple.
